At your first appointment, you will receive a thorough examination, including a discussion of your medical and dental experiences. This will include a detailed analysis of each tooth and its supporting structures, an examination of other soft tissues of the mouth and lips, evaluation of your bite and the function of the jaw joint. This initial exam will last from 1-2 hours depending on your circumstances and needs.
Your dental findings will be thoroughly explained to you either at this initial visit or at a subsequent consultation appointment.
The goal of this initial experience is to understand your unique dental circumstances and with your input, determine how best to proceed to help you achieve optimal oral health for your lifetime.
